KARAM Launches its 2nd Mobile Demo Van/Studio, in a tryst to strengthen awareness on Safety
In their ongoing pursuit to spread awareness on Workplace Safety, KARAM, one of the finest Indian companies providing world class PPE & Fall Protection, has launched their 2nd Mobile Demo Van under the Campaign “Safe India Drive”. The Demo Van would travel the length and breadth of India, covering major cities with the main focus to spread awareness of workplace safety. The studio/van was inaugurated and flagged-off in the city by Chief Guest Mr. P.K. Rao – Director at UP Fire Services.
India is known for its labour –centric work force, with major focus lying in mining and construction. In spite of such a vast expanse in labour class, there is a grave lacking in terms of workplace security with close to 2 out of 10 labourers losing their lives due to workplace fatalities. The Demo van is a part of KARAM’s endeavour to acknowledge the importance of a safe work environment and create awareness on the use of safety equipments. More than 70 products from different product categories, industries, and hazards will be covered in the demo van accompanied with large range of product displays/demos, testing and training.
The first KARAM Mobile Demo Van, till date, has covered more than 32,000 kilometres across India and established base at more than 300 “Safety Conscious” companies. In the process, they have trained more than 41,000 people working at various industrial sites, creating a huge success in their maiden endeavour. Noting this overwhelming response, they decided to launch their 2nd van amongst greater anticipation.
Speaking on this momentous occasion, Ms. Kavita Nigam, General Manager, HR Publicity, and Promotion, KARAM, said “We are thrilled to launch our 2nd Demo Van, in the beautiful city of Lucknow. In the initial phase of spreading awareness, KARAM successfully covered states like Delhi/NCR, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala and Gujarat. The main objective is to cover all parts of India to spread ‘safety awareness’.
